About Us
It all started with OMNIsoft Computers Ltd which we setup in 1990. The mainline
product developed within this company was business and manufacturing custom
software. Soon after, we had to complement our products and increase our
portfolio to include Hardware, POS Solutions, Networking Equipment and
Administration. The ever-growing demands on our services in various sectors
started to apply pressure for us to make a decision. Therefore, in late 2003,
the managing director, Mr. Vincent Micallef Decesare decided to open a company
called NewLines Limited and set it up with a focused mission. Geared to handle
the I.T. requirements of small to medium sized organisations, the company's
focus is channelled purposely on the following sectors :

Software Design & Development
Our experience here spans back to the early 80’s when we used technologies of
that era to develop our software projects and applications. Over the years we
shifted to various platforms amongst which were Dataflex, Foxpro, Advanced
Revelation, Clarion and Delphi with MSSQL as the back-end. Naturally, time waits
for no-one, and we have had to continuously invest in components, resources and
tools to ensure that we are able to produce cutting edge software packages and
solutions. Consequently, today, we are developing in C#, using Visual Studio
2008, utilising Microsoft's .NET framework and MSSQL as our standards. Our
projects incorporate software packages for standard and niche markets as well as
for assignments requiring software interfacing with external peripherals like
PDA's, Smart Phones, Touch Systems etc... We are currently migrating most of our
systems to the new platforms and will continue to add to our portfolio in
earnest. Mr. Aleksandar Lalic, another director of NewLines Limited, currently
heads our Software D&D Department. Aleksandar has been involved with multiple
software projects, languages and technologies which bring a world of experience
to the table.

To maintain our high-level standards throughout the services and products that
we supply, we have teamed up with a foreign partner whose line of business is
strictly focused on designing and producing top-notch websites. Together with
our partner, we are able to deliver simple and informative websites as well as
complex, dynamic eye-catching ones. It very much depends on the nature of your
business and requirements. The internet today is an extremely powerful marketing

Software Support
Client support is key and we always ensure that our clients are more than
satisfied with our products and level of service. We believe that the
after-sales support is much more important that the actual sale so we go out of
our way to support our client and his business. We have various types of support
contracts to deal with different scenarios. Through these agreements, we provide
E-Mail, on-site, telephone and internet based remote support. Newlines also
releases periodic software system updates that are distributed free of charge to
all our contract clients.

Hardware Solutions
Together with our dependable professional local agents who supply branded
equipment and peripherals, we are able to deliver complete hardware solutions
ranging from POS equipment like Cash drawers, Customer Display Units, Barcode
Readers, Receipt Printers to proper entry-level and heavy-duty Server’s and
work-stations that are essential for efficient network organizations. We are
also in a position to supply the client with notebooks, printers, UPS units,
switches, hubs and other relevant branded peripherals. |
